Steve Gilcrease

Owner and President

Owner and President of Metro Pole setting since December of 1972 to present. Steve started the company in 1972 with one digger truck and one employee. Today the company has 50 employees, 25 bucket trucks, 5 digger trucks, and numerous backhoes, mini excavators, bore machines and one-ton trucks. In addition, they have access to many aerial and underground subcontractors. Originally the company began setting poles for then, Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Metro Pole has since diversified into not only pole and anchor setting, but all aerial aspects and underground utilities. Steve runs all the day to day operations of the company.

Ron Grantham

Underground Manager OSP/ISP

He has been an employee since 2002

Ron has over 41 years experience in the underground field, he is also OSHA and NUCA Competent Person certified. Ron is responsible for hiring underground crews, managing all daily underground crews, over-seeing all underground work, bidding underground jobs, boring, excavation, trenching, backhoe, traffic control and concrete work.

Aerial Manager

Tod has been with Metropole Setting for over 28 years specializing in Aerial Cabling.

Tina Gilcrease

Office Manager

Tina is responsible for payroll, invoicing and all accounting functions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. She also handles human resource issues, job scheduling and dispatching. Her experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft make her an asset to the company.
